How a Chiropractic Helps People who had Multiple Concussions

It’s not uncommon to suffer multiple concussions throughout a lifetime. For many people, depression can set in as a condition based off a concussion. Loss of interest in activities you used to love doing, poor communication skills or short attention spans are common symptoms from multiple concussions. Your Charleston Health is here to help ease symptoms from concussions.

One Individual’s Struggle with Multiple Concussions

A man suffered multiple concussions from injuries sustained from numerous hockey fights, a car wreck, and two times falling on his head on concrete and hard ice. He began experiencing anger issues. Before the concussions, he loved to ski, play hockey, fish and hunt.

After suffering multiple concussions, he no longer showed interest in these activities. He didn’t want to participate in family-related activities, felt lethargic and hated to be in crowded places. He also suffered from constant back pain and achy muscles. He basically had given up on life and everything that came with it.

What He Felt Like after Receiving Treatment for Multiple Concussions

After only sleeping but 3-4 hours daily, having no appetite and experiencing intense headaches, he saw a chiropractor and noticed how he began feel differently. After his first treatment, he was able to sleep better. His appetite returned and his outlook on life and attitude changed radically.

After his second treatment, he felt more energized and ready to face the day. His constant back pain and achy muscles went away. After a few more treatments, his headaches were gone and he became active in sports once again. In short, the young man felt so alive and pain-free.
